Carter is CWE’s Practice Administrator. He is driven towards providing the best patient experience and outcome that is possible. Nothing makes him happier than “Seeing patients leave our office with a smile on their face. Root Canals have a bad reputation and we counter that narrative every day.” His favorite part of CWE is working with an outstanding group of individuals within the practice. The team is what makes CWE exceptional and they have his gratitude. His background is in Finance and Accounting with over a decade of business operations on his CV. A passion he holds dear is ice hockey and outdoor activities (running, hiking, swimming, and rucking). On weekends he spends time with his beautiful wife in Lakeside, Virginia.
Joanna is our Clinical Manager. “I graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Teaching License. After teaching for years in California and Virginia, I decided to change careers and pursue my interest in Dentistry. I obtained my Certified Dental Assistant license in 2014 and began my second career as a Dental Assistant at Commonwealth Endodontics. After (4) years of chairside assisting, I now get to combine my education and talents as our first Clinical Manager. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my son, going to concerts, volunteering, reading and painting.”
Brittany is our Assistant Practice Administrator. “I love my CWE family and strive to provide exceptional patient experiences through a positive, relaxing, and family-like atmosphere. My journey with CWE began as a Patient Care Coordinator and has since grown into my management role. Over the years, I have gained an ample amount of experience in customer service, billing, and insurance. I am a member of the Richmond AADOM Chapter which has been a great resource in furthering my professional development. In my free time, I love spending time with my son and family. The simple things in life are what I enjoy the most: cooking, nature, and cozying up to a good movie. I look forward to caring for you and helping with your endodontic needs!”
Kelsey is our Southside Office Manager. “If there are two things I am super passionate about, it is making people laugh and rescuing animals. Nothing makes my day more enjoyable than talking to a patient that is nervous and easing their dental anxiety or finding a stray animal in need of some TLC! When I am not at the office, you can find me at the dog park with my Akita Chow mix, Yogi! He is truly the light of my life.”
Chloe is the Office Manager at our Mechanicsville location. She began her journey with us as a Patient Care Coordinator in September 2023, and thanks to her dedication and leadership, she was promoted to Office Manager in September 2024. Since then, she has truly thrived in her position. Chloe takes great pride in creating a welcoming environment for every patient. “There’s no better feeling than seeing the difference in patients-from walking in nervous, to leaving with a smile,” she says. Outside the office, Chloe loves exploring Richmond restaurants and is always on the hunt for a new favorite.
Amber is our Grove Avenue Office Manager. She started with CWE as a Patient Care Coordinator in November 2021 and quickly transitioned to her current Office Manager role. “I love everyone’s willingness to help our patients get out of pain as quickly as possible. Each person here at CWE has something unique to offer, and I enjoy the diversity of our staff.” As a native to Richmond, and a VCU graduate, she loves to spend time with her family at RVA’s hot spots like Belle Isle, Carytown, and Maymont Park. In her spare time you can usually catch her at the gym either powerlifting or training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. On the weekends you can typically find her in a wrestling ring, as she is also a professional wrestler.
Isaiah is our Charlottesville Office Manager. He is a recent graduate from James Madison University with a B.S. in Healthcare Administration and a minor in General Business. His journey in healthcare has been shaped by a strong commitment to improving access and outcomes while prioritizing community service. During his time at JMU, he served as an ambassador for the Health Services Administration program, where he guided prospective students and engaged with future healthcare professionals. He was also involved with Virginia Beach Emergency Medical Services, assisting with event organization and supporting EMT training. This volunteer experience deepened his passion for helping others and strengthened his dedication to healthcare in the community. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through health and fitness, public speaking, and indulging in his love for baseball. He is excited to continue making a positive impact at CWE and in the healthcare field.
Hope is our Chester Office Manager. She joined our practice with a strong background in endodontics, both clinically and administratively. She takes pride in serving the town she calls home, where she often encounters friends and neighbors. Hope loves the quick relief that root canal treatments provide our patients who are in pain. In addition to her dental career, she is also a certified group fitness instructor and leads a variety of exercise classes at local gyms.
Jackie is our Billing Manager. She has over 10 years of experience within the dental field, ranging from chairside assistance to front desk tasks and management. She takes great pleasure in working with our patients, assisting them with any billing matters or insurance inquiries they may have. Beyond her professional life, Jackie enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son. She also loves engaging in leisure activities like playing cornhole or 8-ball pool.
