Guylyn is CWE’s Practice Administrator. She is passionate about dentistry and prides herself on exceptional patient care and service. “What I love about Commonwealth Endodontics is that our goal is to save teeth. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing we were able to get a patient out of pain and do it in a compassionate and professional environment.” Guylyn has worked in dentistry for over 10 years and prides herself on the relationships she has built with her Team. She holds a Bachelors in Business Administration and is a certified Spinning® instructor. Guylyn is also the founder and President of the Richmond AADOM Chapter Study Club, an extension of the nationally recognized organization, The American Association of Dental Office Management. She is married with two boys and a girl and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, running and being active.

Joanna is our Clinical Manager. “I graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Teaching License. After teaching for years in California and Virginia, I decided to change careers and pursue my interest in Dentistry. I obtained my Certified Dental Assistant license in 2014 and began my second career as a Dental Assistant at Commonwealth Endodontics. After (4) years of chairside assisting, I now get to combine my education and talents as our first Clinical Manager. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my son, going to concerts, volunteering, reading and painting.”

Brittany is our Assistant Practice Administrator. “I love my CWE family and strive to provide exceptional patient experiences through a positive, relaxing, and family-like atmosphere. My journey with CWE began as a Patient Care Coordinator and has since grown into my management role. Over the years, I have gained an ample amount of experience in customer service, billing, and insurance. I am a member of the Richmond AADOM Chapter which has been a great resource in furthering my professional development. In my free time, I love spending time with my son and family. The simple things in life are what I enjoy the most: cooking, nature, and cozying up to a good movie. I look forward to caring for you and helping with your endodontic needs!”

Rhea is our Assistant Practice Administrator. Her background is in hospitality and restaurant management. She joined CWE as a Patient Care Coordinator in 2020, where she discovered her love for dentistry through learning from her incredible colleagues, understanding the importance of teamwork and collaboration in providing outstanding dental care. In her role, Rhea finds fulfillment in combining her skills to support her team and help patients in need. She holds a B.S. in political science with dual minors in non-profit management & women’s studies. She is a member of the Dental Professionals Association of Richmond to stay updated with industry trends and best practices. She enjoys outdoor adventures with her family and two young boys, exploring the city, reading, and always learning something new.

Kelsey is our Southside Office Manager. “If there are two things I am super passionate about, it is making people laugh and rescuing animals. Nothing makes my day more enjoyable than talking to a patient that is nervous and easing their dental anxiety or finding a stray animal in need of some TLC! When I am not at the office, you can find me at the dog park with my Akita Chow mix, Yogi! He is truly the light of my life.”

Amber is our Grove Avenue Office Manager. She started with CWE as a Patient Care Coordinator in November 2021 and quickly transitioned to her current Office Manager role. “I love everyone’s willingness to help our patients get out of pain as quickly as possible. Each person here at CWE has something unique to offer, and I enjoy the diversity of our staff.” As a native to Richmond, and a VCU graduate, she loves to spend time with her family at RVA’s hot spots like Belle Isle, Carytown, and Maymont Park. In her spare time you can usually catch her at the gym either powerlifting or training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. On the weekends you can typically find her in a wrestling ring, as she is also a professional wrestler.

Elizabeth is our Office Manager at our Short Pump location. She is deeply committed to delivering exceptional care and values the daily interactions she has with patients. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Health Science, Elizabeth is passionate about expanding her knowledge of the healthcare system to ensure a seamless and positive experience for everyone she serves. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys painting and crafting, walking around Richmond, and discovering new restaurants and cafes.

Kit is our Office Manager at our Brandermill location. She brings a strong background in sales and customer service and joined Commonwealth Endodontics in July 2022 as a Patient Care Coordinator. In January 2023, Kit transitioned to her current role, working alongside Dr. Schroeder. Kit and the Brandermill team excel at making patients feel like family while offering flexible scheduling to accommodate those in pain. She takes pride in ensuring everyone leaves feeling better than when they arrived. Outside of work, Kit enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Hope is our Chester Office Manager. She joined our practice with a strong background in endodontics, both clinically and administratively. She takes pride in serving the town she calls home, where she often encounters friends and neighbors. Hope loves the quick relief that root canal treatments provide our patients who are in pain. In addition to her dental career, she is also a certified group fitness instructor and leads a variety of exercise classes at local gyms. Outside of work she enjoys roller skating, crafting, and spending quality time with her husband and 3 sons.

Ginny is our West End Office Manager. Her adventure with CWE began in September of 2021 as a Patient Care Coordinator, which evolved into our Sedation Coordinator, and has advanced into her current management role. She loves working for a company that goes the extra mile to make sure all patients are taken care of and takes great pride in being able to educate patients on the options they have available to them from the outstanding providers at CWE. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her two sons, especially in the warmer months when they can spend time at the pool and Busch Gardens.

Jackie is our Billing Manager. She has over 10 years of experience within the dental field, ranging from chairside assistance to front desk tasks and management. She takes great pleasure in working with our patients, assisting them with any billing matters or insurance inquiries they may have. Beyond her professional life, Jackie enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son. She also loves engaging in leisure activities like playing cornhole or 8-ball pool.

Jensen is our Marketing Coordinator. She has a passion for healthcare and a strong background in all things design. Jensen holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a certificate in Digital Marketing. “I’m thrilled to be part of Commonwealth Endodontics, where I can truly express my creativity and grow both professionally and personally.” When she’s not busy in the office creating new marketing materials or connecting with other endodontists and dentists, she enjoys spending time at home with her boyfriend and cat or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Jensen looks forward to continuing to contribute to the CWE team and helping to elevate the practice!

Abbey is our Human Resources Coordinator. She is excited to be a part of the CWE family! After graduating from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science, she completed Dental Hygiene school and practiced for a few years before discovering her passion for supporting employees through Human Resources. Moving to Virginia in 2023, Abbey found her way back to the dental world, where she blends her education and experience to support our team. Outside the office, Abbey loves spending quality time with family and friends, enjoying nature, and exploring all that Richmond has to offer. She looks forward to helping create a positive experience for everyone at CWE!
