At Commonwealth Endodontics, we are committed to utilizing the latest technology to reduce patient discomfort and healing time to include cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging, operating microscopes, and digital intraoral radiography.

EdgePro laser

At Commonwealth Endodontics, we are committed to staying at the forefront of dental technology to provide our patients with the best possible care. That's why we are proud to utilize the cutting-edge EdgePro laser in our endodontic treatments. The EdgePro laser is a revolutionary tool that enhances the precision and efficiency of our procedures, ultimately improving patient outcomes. This advanced laser technology allows us to perform root canal therapy and other endodontic treatments with unparalleled accuracy and comfort. One of the key benefits of the EdgePro laser is its ability to precisely target infected or damaged tissue while preserving healthy surrounding areas. This means less trauma to the tooth and surrounding tissues, resulting in reduced discomfort and faster healing times for our patients.

The laser's high level of precision also enables us to thoroughly clean and disinfect the root canal system. Its energy is capable of reaching areas that traditional instruments may miss, ensuring a more thorough treatment and reducing the risk of reinfection. Furthermore, the EdgePro laser promotes greater efficiency during endodontic procedures. Its advanced technology allows us to perform tasks such as removing obstructions and shaping the root canal with greater ease and accuracy. This translates into shorter treatment times, fewer appointments, and an overall smoother experience for our patients.

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) USE CBCT

Our goal is to provide you with the best, most accurate, and thorough diagnosis possible. Recent technological breakthroughs have allowed us to make major advances in our ability to achieve this goal. The CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) imaging gives us a 360 degree, three-dimensional view of the area we are examining. With its extremely high resolution and exceptionally low radiation, it has literally changed our world with respect to what we can now see. CBCT imaging offers a large volume of information and subtle details that simply cannot be obtained by any two-dimensional X-ray, whether intraoral or panoramic. One 3D scan allows our doctors to examine the region of interest at a high resolution from many different perspectives. Clinical studies support this technology’s improved diagnostic capabilities. We are proud to offer CBCT technology to our patients and feel strongly this allows us to provide the very highest level of care possible today.

Operating Microscopes

By using the best operating microscopes, this helps us locate the exact surgical site and the area requiring treatment. Microscopy is a specialized lighting and magnification aid to closely analyze the root canal. We use this to clean the canal and detect for any irregularities that cannot be picked up with a regular microscope.

Digital Intraoral Radiography

Today, our digital intraoral radiography emits less radiation than any other radiographic machine. This type of imaging is film-based, meaning that we can choose to enhance the quality of each image.
