SCHEDULING REFERRAL APPOINTMENTS

To ensure a seamless experience for your patients, you can help us by:

• Accurately scheduling their appointment for an Evaluation Only appointment or an Evaluation and Treatment appointment. If the patient is in severe pain, we will make every attempt to see them the same day.
• Inform the patient why a root canal therapy is necessary (i.e. cracked tooth, infected tooth, core retention).
• Including information regarding how the final restoration will be placed.
• Informing the patient if a crown may be necessary.
• We will assume that you’ve informed the patient that a root canal treatment may be necessary to save their tooth.

About Treatment

We make every attempt to complete treatment in one visit, however, some factors may require the patient to come back for a second visit to complete treatment.

If there are any circumstances that would hinder treatment, please inform our office of:

• Patient Management
• Compromised Medical History
• Separated instrument
• Nitrous Oxide
